Thanks about the blog and your blog comment. That was really a wonderful cave. I was going to say movie--and it is a wonderful movie--but an even more wonderful cave. All it lacked was cupcakes and candles.
It is nice to know I'm not the only one floating around the web for hours trying to make good use of it. I suppose if I have this problem, then I must be doing something right (that is - marketing and making good connections). Just accepted your friend request - thanks! :)
Deborah, it was wonderful meeting you during the BEA She Write's meetup! We had a family emergency right after, so I'm just now able to play catch up and connect! Looking forward to staying connected!
Deborah, you're right! There's nothing more magical than the way things come full circle. Would you believe I caught myself humming the tune to the song this afternoon as I did the dishes? :)
Yes, it was awesome meeting you...and I dunno if I like Lolita - maybe we can talk more in the near future. It was really cool to see the SheWrites group. Let' stay connected!
...aha you are asking the wrong person about facebook, Deborah! I'm in the minority in that I just never could embrace the total disclosure of it, or the fact that I was faced with so many others disclosing things I might not have wished to be privy to!
I was in, then out, then in, then out again. Just found it was kind of a time suck without much benefit for me, although I still use it as a way to get in touch with friends and where they can find me (who remembers emails anymore?).
I suppose eventually I'll be back, maybe when I have a book to promote (wishful thinking, haha). Facebook is, I suppose, like any tool that can be great as long as you control its impact on your life.
I've written about my love/hate for FB in a few posts on my blog, if you're interested. Also, an interesting article on FB that I came across is here.
Thanks for your comment on my page Deborah. I agree with you, it is wonderful to be bilingual. But it is even more work for the poor Mum (me) ! I honestly thought it would be easy. It isn't!
Hello Deborah
You're right the story was crying for closure :) and you came in at the right time in the story! Just to say thank you for your generosity in offering your book 'Shoes Hair Nail' as a prize!

Thank you so much for your comment on my post about Diane -- it truly means the world to me. :) I am so glad you found us, and look forward to meeting you some time soon!
"Thanks Fiona. A couple of good ideas. I think for my next submission I will have to try and be more assertive about the cover. And I like the idea of doing a new cover once the contract runs out on my book."
"I agree that the cover ought to offer a bit of advance warning because those two reader groups: sweet romance and erotic romance, are diametrically-opposed! Did you have any input into the cover? I'm with 3 publishers and all of…"

Hello Deborah,
Nice to meet you as well. It was a lovely event. Would you like me to send you the photos of you? I've sent a few to Kamy, will send the rest today.
Let's stay in touch,
Marcia

Hi, Deborah. Happy to meet you through the ball. Loved the lipstick pick. See you around SheWrites.

It was nice to meet you too! And thanks again for letting us perch on your bench.
