Hello Deborah,

Nice to meet you as well. It was a lovely event. Would you like me to send you the photos of you? I've sent a few to Kamy, will send the rest today.

Let's stay in touch,

Marcia

Thanks about the blog and your blog comment. That was really a wonderful cave. I was going to say movie--and it is a wonderful movie--but an even more wonderful cave. All it lacked was cupcakes and candles.

It is nice to know I'm not the only one floating around the web for hours trying to make good use of it. I suppose if I have this problem, then I must be doing something right (that is - marketing and making good connections). Just accepted your friend request - thanks! :)

So, with the photo of the dog with you, you might get a kick out of my BETA site for Off the Leash:Road Stories With My Dog.

Deborah, it was wonderful meeting you during the BEA She Write's meetup!  We had a family emergency right after, so I'm just now able to play catch up and connect!  Looking forward to staying connected!

Deborah, you're right! There's nothing more magical than the way things come full circle. Would you believe I caught myself humming the tune to the song this afternoon as I did the dishes? :)

...aha you are asking the wrong person about facebook, Deborah! I'm in the minority in that I just never could embrace the total disclosure of it, or the fact that I was faced with so many others disclosing things I might not have wished to be privy to!

I was in, then out, then in, then out again. Just found it was kind of a time suck without much benefit for me, although I still use it as a way to get in touch with friends and where they can find me (who remembers emails anymore?).

I suppose eventually I'll be back, maybe when I have a book to promote (wishful thinking, haha). Facebook is, I suppose, like any tool that can be great as long as you control its impact on your life.

I've written about my love/hate for FB in a few posts on my blog, if you're interested. Also, an interesting article on FB that I came across is here.

Thanks for your comment on my page Deborah. I agree with you, it is wonderful to be bilingual. But it is even more work for the poor Mum (me) ! I honestly thought it would be easy. It isn't!
