Great. But I still don't think I know how to do an author page... My page doesn't look as cool as yours! And my websites don't link... Oh well... I will keep working at it.
Welcome to Mother Writer we are glad you're here. When you get a chance please come by and introduce yourself we would love to get to know you better. If you have any questions please let us know.

Thanks so much, Rebecca! It's pretty thrilling for a small press title to be "up there" with the big boys and girls, even briefly! Congratulations on your wonderful writing success! I so admire novelists...
and just checked out your website (how are you so organized already?!). a fellow runner too! I've run one marathon (years ago) and several halfs. One of my Wednesday Sisters, Linda, is a runner (excuse to trot out the fascinating history of women runners) - but WAY faster than I am.
>Holy cow -- I just read the opening of your book on Amazon. Awesomeness!
Thank you! Yours looks wonderful, too. And I love your title too! I also looked for you on amazon, but didn't see you there yet. But now I see you're Spring 2011 - not 2010! So we'll likely be coming out about the same time. :-)
Welcome to She Writes, Rebecca. Nice to have another fellow Random House author joining in the conversation here, and esp another "sister" writer (I'm The Wednesday Sisters). :-)
Love to have you join us in the big fiction group, or in Novelists – Struggling or Not.
"I'm working on a chapter book now, the second in a series called "Weirdville". It's all set in this small town named Weirdville where, like the name suggests, strange things happen. It's a series of stand-alone horror…"
"My debut picture book, Valentina and the Haunted Mansion, released earlier this week in eBook, paperback and hardcover format.
A little vampire girl who's afraid of ghosts, and monsters, and the dark? Oh yeah."

Yay for you! I know so many women who work fulltime and still do all the meal prep, laundry, etc. The more things change and all that...
