Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I've written nonfiction in the past but I am having fun with this. It'd be nice to do it without the 30 day time crunch but I probably never would've done it.
Susan, I happened to join as I was starting the NaNoWriMo project, writing a 50K novel in 30 days. Usually people do it in November but July seemed better. I imagine once this month is over, I'll focus on connecting to a few people who are active here and try to have real conversations about writing.
Adding my voice to the welcome, Susan. We’d love to have you join us in the Novelists – Struggling or Not group if you’re looking for a place to jump in.
Well now that you mention it. Actually tonight I'm going to a coffee shop to read. I do that a lot. I bring some poetry chapbooks to sell if possible. I'm like a travelling salesgirl. I am getting back to work on my second novel, Flower Symbolism for Dummies, which is fun but of course I don't have a lot of quality time alone with it. I squeeze it in here and there and right now I've got this computer problem where my computer isn't recognizing my zip drive anymore. So I've been going to libraries which makes it even harder. But enough about me, what about you?
