Thanks so much, Pauline. I really appreciate the welcome I have received. I will do as you suggested. I want to learn as much as possible. It seems like you guys have created a treasure trove of help, information and fellowship here.
Thank you Pauline, I am looking forward to this journey. I have set up a blog lauriejoreichart.blogspot.com. I am eager to learn more and share my writing. I take comments and input. That is an invite, by the way. It is strange how they truly do feel like our children walking out the door.
Thank you wonderful Pauline! How are your projects going? I am finishing a second draft of my new feature and I am very excited to meet new friends!!!!
Pauline, you were so good to ask about how to welcome new members, and I am really sorry that no one got back to you about it sooner. The best thing to do is to click on "Find Out Who's Here" on the top righthand navigation on the main page, and just browse through the newest additions. The newest members will appear at the top. On another note, thank you thank you for your comments on the Five Questions with Diane Meier. I saw her at the event on Wednesday evening and she really had enjoyed hearing from you. I also wanted to let you know that there is a London Salon of Women Writers -- are you in London? Drop me a line any time at kamy@shewrites.com and I can tell you more about it.
Hi Pauline,
Thanks so much for emailing me. I'm such a newbie so am easily intimidated. It's so nice to have someone reaching out....I will certainly join up!
Thanks,
Roanne
Dear Pauline,
Thank you so much for your kind words about my article on Katja. It means a lot to me to be able to share her amazing story. I'm also excited to have been brought to your She Writes page, and I'm really enjoying your screenwriting blog; I've already bookmarked it!
All best,
Leda
Hi, Pauline. I'm glad to have a friend in the UK. I worked in London for a publisher for two years so like to stay connected. Congrats on all your good work. Leslie
Pauline, thanks for the link to the Daily Mash! That's a new one to me. And here's to writing that makes us laugh! Have a fun, wonderful, productive day.--Mylène
I couldn't more agree, Pauline. What a moment not only of history -- a woman winning at the Academy Awards!, but also an artistic victory, especially over the silly teenage-boy-mentality of Aavtar! Reason to celebrate. Catherine Bigelow rocks!
Why thank you! We're working on a little remodel of The Story Spot right now, growing and bringing in other active groups such as this one on SheWrites where we can. There are so many interesting people and discussions out there. I'll put my noodle towards thinking of ways we can collaborate. I think that would be great fun, don't you?

Pauline, welcome to Screenwriters and Story Editors. Glad you've come along for the fun. Do drop in to our Introductions thread and share a bit about yourself and your work. We're writers at all levels in our work so feel free to ask questions, seek resources, and share your own expertise and experiences (which appear to be considerable!) Here's to getting to know each other.
Welcome!
