What a coincidence! I have had it since my early twenties, was on PTU for a year, followed by three brief episodes about ten years apart later in life. Good luck, and I look forward to reading your book. I forget the endocrinologist's name, but are you familiar with The Thyroid Solution? The author looks was beyond numbers, and is very interested in all the emotional ramifications as well.

He's talented and sounds very normal for a new teenager, Carol.  My daughter used to be like that but eventually turned BACK into a lovely person again!
