hi! it's really nice to be here, I'm still getting to used to it all--I think it might take a while but I'm really honored to be a part of this community! After looking around + scoping out some of the blogs on the site I'm really intrigued and it looks like I have a lot to learn and that it will be fun to learn!

I'm mainly a fashion/lifestyle blogger with a strong feminist + independent streak. I write a lot of beat poetry, memoir + have a few novels I've been plugging away at for a few years. This week was the first time I ever submitted any of my writing to a contest though...I find out the results Friday! I'm hoping this website will help give me the extra push and support I need to believe it really is possible to be the author I dream of being :)

Hi Julia, thanks for the er, welcome ... however, because I'm not exactly new. I was unable to use my password and I had to set up a new one .I have posted on several sites with ideas on e-books and promotion and using social media. I hope my contributions add something to the mix as I've already met some wonderful women on this site and recommend it every chance I get.
