Let's schedule a time to talk. I checked your website, and I must say it is a huge but rewarding undertaking. I wish you all the luck! If I can be of any help, please let me know. Also, you may want to check out The Story Plant. They are doing some good work. If you want, I can put you in touch with one of the co-founders -- just to compare notes, maybe?
I haven't been on SheWrites much lately. Been busy doing my own "thang" I suppose. I'm curious as to what my SheWrites friends are up to, writing-wise, though. Right now, I'm waiting to hear back from 2 agents who have requested my full manuscript of The Time Minders. I'm still working on Kingdoms of Blood & Magic, but not as diligently as I should, since I've been querying/submitting for the TTM, doing scads of tutoring at my daughters' school and work for our church's youth group. How about YOU?
Hello there! I hope my message finds you well. I reviewed your profile and wanted to thank you for your service to our country. Also, a very big congrats on establishing your publishing house! Impressive.
I was wondering if you or someone you knew might be interested in collaborating on a choreopoem as a playwright or choreographer. The premise focuses on the Black experience in America. As a heads-up, I am based out of Atlanta. Let me know… Take care.
I think that's true for me too. Sometimes I like to play the "What if" game with myself, "What if I hadn't moved in with that boyfriend when I was 18," "What if I had gone straight to college instead of going straight into the work world," "What if I hadn't gone to college," What if I had never had my kids," "Would life be much simpler?" "Would I still be the person I am today?"
I have made mistakes, like everyone else, I have regrets for those mistakes, but I wouldn't change a thing about how my life has transpired up until now. It's made me who I am today, and I like me. :o) I love my kids, I have a good job, good family and friends. I wouldn't change the good or the bad about my past because my life experiences have changed me in positive ways. I have a stronger faith, I am more compassionate, less judgmental, and wiser, and humble enough to say I'm still learning. Also, I discovered how much I love to write, and am more creative than ever. I feel my past has shaped that.
So I'm with you, I hope I'm never so 'well adjusted' that I can't look back. :o)
Thanks Regina. I'm a seriously green beginner here. Any tips, or links to guide for beginning writers are welcome. I must say, I'm not a beginner writer, but a beginner non-technical/non-audit related writer. :o)
Thanks Regina! And also for the comment. I'll post about the conference on the thread I started. I thought I did already, but I'm losing track of where I write what! Does that happen to you? I like your site by the way!
The New Renaissance Ink website looks great, Regina. Now that I feel days away (literally) from finishing my novel, I can take some time to breathe . . .and catch up. Best Wishes for a Fruitful New Year.
Hi Regina, Thanks for your note and for reading my post! You'll be happy to know that my noisemakers are being delivered to Syracuse via another hockey mom :)
Normal? What's that? I don't think I would recognize it if I saw it. Normal writing is boring writing. Thanks for reading my Write It Sideways guest post.
Hi Regina, Thanks for your reply to mine on the discussion board, I have to chuckle because I realise how much you are adding to your online contact by initiating the discussion, I don't think you needed convincing of its merit but there's nothing like the experience of asking a question in a discussion and connecting with everyone who responds to realise the value, that was my initiation into SheWrites, I asked people in the Wordpress group to share their blog and WOW, what an amazing journey that was/is. Good luck with your writing and keep connecting. Claire
"I'm working on a chapter book now, the second in a series called "Weirdville". It's all set in this small town named Weirdville where, like the name suggests, strange things happen. It's a series of stand-alone horror…"
"My debut picture book, Valentina and the Haunted Mansion, released earlier this week in eBook, paperback and hardcover format.
A little vampire girl who's afraid of ghosts, and monsters, and the dark? Oh yeah."

Hi, Regina! Great to be connected:) Let's talk sometime. Would love to hear/learn more about your new publishing house!
Doing some clean-up today. Did you ever write a review of my book? If so, where? And if not, I'd appreciate a line or two on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Husbands-May-Come-Friends-Forever/product-reviews/0982504608/ref=sr_1_1_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
Thanks,

Hi Regina - did you see Maria Murnane is speaking at Backspace? We'll have to remember to check it out.

Belize, Wow! Lucky you.
Hey, Regina. Did you finish "Husbands May Come and Go," yet?
Happy Holidays!
