How are things going with you? Sorry I have not been in contact, I came down with asthma last April and almost died! I've just been dealing with that and with the wacky weather in Texas that's not always easy, I also got my website up and got my first book on Amazon.com. My proudest accomplishment is that I have my first grandbaby. Okay, I guess that wasn't really MY accomplishment :-) Take care and I will try to do better with keeping in touch with my "friends." Have a great weekend!
Hi Deanna! Nice to meet you on SheWrites. I know what it's like to be single, no kids, and in your 30s. I was happily single until I met my husband 7yrs ago. Still no kids and I'm not complaining. But I do miss "livin' single" sometimes!

Hey Deanna, thank you 'friending. You blog looks great and I love what you're about in your 'why do I write' section.
Hi, Deanna I'm very impressed with your accomplishments. Thanks for befriending me and I will be checking out your sites. Along with tagging behind your twitter. Mine is @jumpouttheboat. I'll be asking you.
Welcome and I am happy to have you as a friend. I have recently completed my first book and will soon be dedicating a website to my writing. I checked out your website and think it's pretty great. I hope you are enjoying She Writes!
I grew up in Kansas and Chicago, then went to University of Michigan, and will sing the praises of Midwesterners any time! I've lived all over the place since then, and am now on the west coast, but will always think of myself as a Midwesterner.
Thanks for your comment on my blog post "Leaving." I actually wish I remembered more. The post was really a short story and a combination of memories and stories I heard from friends and family throughout my life. I'm sure your great-grandparents and grandparents went through their own unique ordeal. Although my parents made the right decision to come to America, I know how hard it was for them to leave the country they loved.
I am being encouraged to write more on the subject and just may do that. Maybe a small book of short stories. We'll see.
Thanks again for taking the time to stop by and read it and for your support. Best of luck with "One Woman Show" and with all your other endeavors!
Deanna, Welcome to She Writes. I was in Indianapolis for one of the most amazing book events I've had the pleasure to speak at, The Christamore Guild House fundraiser luncheon. Loved the downtown!
Anyway, glad to have you here, and hope you enjoy the site!
Thanks so much for your support Deanna. I am certainly trying my best to fill the void in the market. The response has been amazing so I continue to push forward. Thank you again and best of luck in your quest to have it all.
