Hi Deborah! Saw your giveaway post and wanted to mention, I just started a FB group for promoting Goodreads Giveaways: https://www.facebook.com/groups/345284535549708/ If you care to join. Feel free to promo there and pass it along.
Hi Deb, Thanks for the welcome! I signed up for the Farm, Ranch & Rural group, despite living in Quebec City at the moment. I grew up in rural Montana, and that is still where my heart is. I have been writing a bit about rural Quebec, since we moved here, and hope to do more of that while we are living in the province.
If you are interested, you can see my work on my personal site, fruit.root.leaf. (http://fruitrootleaf.com), or at the Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph, where I am a writer and photographer (www.qctonline.com).
Deborah, Belated welcome to the novelist group! I hope you're finding your way around. If you haven't already done so, please share a little about what you're working on in the "Show Me Your Novel" discussion thread and/or share your published novels on the "Our Published Novels" one.
We do a live chat on Fridays at 3EST; instructions on how to participate are in the "Our Water Cooler" box near the top of the group page. Do join us! And we save the wall for discussion, but welcome links to helpful blog posts on the “Links to Helpful Blog Posts for Writers” thread.
I've been traveling since end of March, but am back and will look forward to seeing your font.
I'm so sorry I somehow missed your Mar 9 comment about my blogpost on Tim's coffee! Thanks for reading. Like you I may soon miss being a hockey mom, but I don't think I will ever miss cold arenas!
Deborah, welcome to Writers in Canada. We're happy to have you with us! Do drop in to our Introductions thread and share a bit about yourself and your work. Care to share where you're from and where you are now with the group? What brings you to us? Links to your work and other well-meant self-promotion efforts are always encouraged as are friends. Were you invited by a current member of our group?

I'm still trying to get my buns to bed (tee-hee) - it's tough when there's so much to do on my computer. I'm a follower of your blog - and added your blog to my blog roll on my site. Thanks for friending me. Had a nice experience on the chat tonight for my first time. I'll be back and I hope you will be too. kay Dee
"First, just from this post, I can't wait to read your finished book. I love writing that can crawl inside me and make me think about my own life. As I approach the empty nest and turning 50, I've been giving this kind of topic a lot of…"

Hi Deborah,
To be honest, I'm not on as often as I should be either...but I'm trying to be.
Thanks for accepting my invite :)
