Thanks for the help on what to do. I did post a link to my blog in the New Members Visit Here First thread. There are hundreds of you!!! Oh my. Now I'll never want to get off my chair.  Pleased to find such a huge number of forward-thinking writers and readers and creative types in one spot. Even some who actually call themselves feminists (the endangered species). Off to explore.

Thank you for the warm welcome Julie!  I'm looking forward to it, so a delay is not for lack of interest but things are rather hectic right now. Also, I can't wait to read "Beginning a Life at 50" ...I'm a late bloomer myself.

Thanks for the welcome, Julie!  I have posted in the New Members thread, and am very excited about looking around, seeing what people are doing.  I do not yet have a blog, but I want to do one, just not sure exactly what I'm doing yet.  Is there a discussion somewhere that's a sort of "how-to" or guidelines, dos & don'ts for those who are just beginning?
