Hi, Becky--I showed up for the memoir writer's cha on 12/20, but didn't see you on line. After a while, I was joined by Karen M. Adrian. I hope you'll be on the chat today.
I had planned to be there, but house guests and a morning appointment got in the way. I'm glad to see that you had a chat today--the last part of which is still on the chat window. I'll try to catch up. I hope to see you on next Tuesday's chat, if not before. There is also the Multicultural Writers chat on Thursday at 6 a.m. PT. Cheers, Ellen

hallo Becky, thanks to befriending me, nice to meet you this way. Your blog is interesting to be a stranger in a strange country and yet culture shocking through what is your new life now.... Can relate to it not for India, but for Thailand and Africa, while I found European countries not mine, which is Germany, also on the culture shock brink.... Ha!
Hi Becky: Your blog looks great! And the picture of you and your sweetie on the About Us page is so cute. Is his native language different than yours? My husband's native language is Japanese, and mine is English--that's what I wrote about in Asian Jewish Life (can't even write the title without giggling). I know the editor and would be happy to introduce you by email if you'd be interested in pitching something to them!
I'm sorry I took so long to reply but I'm rushing the rewrites for my nano novel for the free pint by end of May. I'm huffing along but should get back to you soon.
Thanks for sending me that friend's request and I would be interested to hear about your memoirs. =D
Thanks for signing up for the Global Writers list--it's great to have you with us! Please post a self-intro on the wall when you get a moment so the others can learn about you and your writing. And I'd love to know what you are doing in India. Did you relocate there or are you from there? We're a real mix on the list of people living in their native regions and people (like me) who are relocated.
Anyway, really looking forward to staying connected!
Hi Becky--Thanks for befriending me and for reading my work online. I loved writing my memoir and I hope you enjoy writing yours. Please keep me posted as you progress.
Becky, welcome to the travel writers group! Please feel free to promote your writing, ask questions, give advice. We're at your disposal!
I would love to hear about your adventures in India. I travelled in the north last August, and began (but haven't finished, sigh) writing my adventures at candygaucho.com. You might find the stories interesting.

I'm glad you're enjoying The Artist's Way. I think I need to dip into it again for an infusion of self-confidence. :-)
