I don't know about the mktg. Learning as I go. I think mystery is easier to write than many genres because the murder propoes the plot and characters.

Good luck! And kudos for you for landing an agent. I couldn't "quite" get one so I self-pub. But I've had fun mktg my book. I'm in one B&N and working on getting into more stores. I find mystery fun. Weird?
