Thank you so much for the informative tutorial. I too am having a problem uploading widgets in the text box. I tried to post my Twitter widget and my Facebook Page Fan Box widget and neither would work. When I save them, it goes back to the screen as if I never typed anything. Am I doing something wrong??
Hi
I've just tried to add a new link to my profile page but it won't go live.
It's a blogpost:
http://screenwriting-passion.blogspot.com
The link is live wherever else I place it, and all my other links on She writes were automatically live. Can you suggest a way to make the blogspot link live?
Many thanks
Pauline

Can you have more than one RSS feed on your page? Also, I followed your video but was not able to upload a Twitter widget. I copied and pasted the HTML information from Twitter into the text box, but nothing came up once I saved. Any insight on why that may be?
I can't seem to get links anchored in my link box at the top of my page. I know how to manually anchor links and many sites automatically convert links so what am I doing wrong?
Alison, I just created a group (Caribbean She Writes) and would like to change an error I have in the description of the group. Please help. I can't seem to find a way to edit it or just delete and re-do it. Thanks much.

Thank you for the video.
What I could not find is: How to add more of the simple textboxes scattered across my page?
When I add them as "apps" from Ning, they get tossed under "My apps" and cause a whole song and dance. I just want one textbox for a short description, and one for the covers of my book. Maybe one for my blogs, not sure yet.
How to sort of "copy" the text-box that the page comes with?

That's what RSS stands for? I thought it was something technical, like um, Radical Streaming Symbiosis! (Great instructions, Alison. Thanks for the pointers.)
I liked the video a lot about customizing My Page, BUT I'm afraid I still can't figure out where would be the appropriate place to put the cover of another book of mine that I'd like pals to see. Thanks, EL
Hi Alison, I'd like to welcome you to my group. I looked at your page and found confirmed that on She Writes, we don't yet tell each other in our profiles that we are diary writers. The wondrous affliction I used to call "my DIARRHEA" remains an under(the)cover activity even though it is often so essential to our craft...I wonder if this will change? Diary writing, for many or most of us is Writing (with a capital W). We would love to hear about your habit, addiction, your "DIARRHEA"!

I filled out my profile page somewhat hastily and would now like to improve it. How do I do this?
Thanks, Marilyn
