I'm a 30+year, published writer of whatever pays (speeches, news releases, articles, fact sheets, etc.) and a 40-plus year, unpublished writer of poetry, essays, journals, vignettes, and bits of a story that never quite comes together. (The latter being where my heart really is.)

I'm looking for advice on the pros, cons, and costs of hiring an agent.
