Trailer for Jillian Lauren's upcoming memoir SOME GIRLS: MY LIFE IN A HAREM, a coming of age story about Lauren's teenage experience in the harem of Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei. An unforgettable and twisted modern fairytale.

I read this book. I don't know if it was over-edited or what exactly my problem was with it but it felt like it was trying to be heart wrenching except it just didn't do it. I kept waiting to feel something except I didn't. It either tried too hard or not hard enough.

You learn something new every day. I guess you could call me a virgin of sorts. I've never seen a trailer for a novel! I'm really interested in reading this book! Love Margaret Cho's quote, too. That made it sound enticing, too. All the best, Jillian!
