My name is Kate Midland, AKA "Tangled-Web-Weaver," and I currently live in the Great Lakes area of the US. I am currently writing a memoir and the journey has led me down many paths that have been painful, sad and, frankly, almost impossible to put down on paper and actually read it. However, a memoir is just that - truth. Sometimes, the truth hurts. I enjoy writing a little of everything; I feel I'm a good storyteller, especially with some direction. I have a great story in my head-- I've told it to a few close friends in whom I trust to be honest, and they love it but, I can't seem to get started; it is overwhelming. Do I take it chronologically, or just start writing the pieces that are most vividly in my head? I think I overthink the process and try to perfect it as I go; I tinker. I need to just vomit it out and then clean it up later. Anyhow, excited to join some writers with girl power!
