As long as we're discussing historical fiction one other event that I'm intrigued about is the Irish rebellion.

Now I know that there has been two Irish rebellions the first recorded is from 1641. So that's historical fiction alright.

The second ocurred during 1798. Both of them sound interesting.

I wonder if the potato famine would have a central role during one or both of them.
