I Am A Butterfly

I am a butterfly.

I fly close to the earth.

The flowers are my friends.

Meadows are my playgrounds.

All day long we chat, my flower friends and I.

In exchange for their sweet nectar,

I tell them stories they love to hear,

of places I have flown to ~

Other lands with other flowers,

Other languages, other foods.

They welcome me back with warm smiles.

They are home to my heart.
