After yesterday's smorgasbord of Super Soul Sunday and Life Class, my conscious is more expanded and my vision is even more clear. Paulo Coelho writes in his book
, The Alchemist, "When you really want something, the Universe always conspires in your favor." Paulo, Steve Harvey and T.D. Jakes were all part of the conspiracy.
As I have gotten older, I know the value of being able to decipher when something is emotionally stirring and that's all it is from when I'm being invited to climb higher with my Creator and see things through His eyes. The broadness of what I see is staggering. What was once an inkling is now shining with a Light that hurts my eyes. Today's pow-wow with God has been to move me from awestruck to stepping into that Light mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Like Steve admonished, I've taken inventory of who is in my wagon that should not be there. That's one of the nuggets that hit me up side my head yesterday. It's not that there is no place for them in my life. It's just that I cannot bear the weight of their inactivity in where I am going. I am pulling a wagon up a hill.
