A New Chapter For The Green Line
Fellow writers and friends, I wanted to share a bit of news with you all. So many of you have been helpful in posting info or resources, liking each others' pages, downloading freebies, spreading news, and so I've had some good fortune recently and wanted to share--see blog post from my website, linked above (www.ecdiskin.com/blog/) Though I've found self-publishing to be an incredible challenge and not at all easy, it does have its benefits, and so taking this next step was not an easy decision, but I'm excited to see what this next chapter will look like!
Hi E.C.,
I know you posted this a while ago, but I'm just seeing it now and wanted to say congrats! I am in a similar position to the one you were in about a year ago. Years writing a suspense/thriller trying to go traditional, deciding to self-pub and the release will be soon. Finally. Boy this is not meant for a type A personality. I read somewhere that you got "early reviews" did you mean your beta readers, or were you seeking reviewers before you published? I am trying to secure a few blurbs for the back cover, etc., but don't know if it's really possible to garner since I am a unknown and it doesn't seem worth it unless the blurb is by a "known". What do you think? Would love to connect. And I'm really excited to read The Green Line, it sounds amazing. Much continued success to you! Eva PS. I'm heading over to your blog now to subscribe!
Thanks Leanne! I hope to learn a lot from this and will certainly report back anything I learn that might be helpful to my comrades!
Congratulations! You are living a dream shared by many--including me. Enjoy it.
