How to Win a Hand-written Poem by Yours Truly

Open to a little random beauty?

Every three weeks, I'll do a random drawing of everyone who's been curious/ kind enough to join my community by following my Facebook Author page, and whoever I pick will win a handwritten poem scripted by yours truly. Either the winner or I can pick the theme, and the winner will pick one word for me to include in the poem (a la Before Sunrise). I will then sit down and compose a poem just for that person with their word in it and mail it to them on some lovely stationary or a fun/ strange postcard. At this point, the winner will have in their wondrous grasp a keepsake of life's strange beauty. The postmark will tell you what lands I am currently wandering in.

All a person need do to enter is to follow my Facebook Author Page, the link to which is here:

Regarding mailing, P.O. Boxes are fine. All information will be kept beyond confidential. Only I will see the address, and I assure you I will immediately lose it and/ or forget it. If the winner absolutely is uncomfortable with me mailing their poem, I will be happy to email it instead.

The first drawing will be June 29th!

And as the Glorious Walt Whitman Wrote:

"This is what you shall do; Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem."
