I am excited to be a member of She Writes.  I have a lot to learn and it looks like I came to the right place.  My two blogs that I write on are: My Constant Thoughts and Once Upon A Time.   Also, I am part of a community on Google+ which is called Poets of G+.  One of the recent poems I wrote for a prompt was called, Four Letter Word.  It is very much PG.  

     My main writing interest has always been poetry and that is what my blog on Blogger is dedicated to. (My Constant Thoughts). My blog on WordPress is for random ideas, thoughts, images, prompts, and anything cool that pops into my head. (Once Upon a Time).  I actually had not shared my poetry online or really with many people until opening a blog on Blogger and joining the wonderful community of Google+.  

     Reading has always been a wonderful past time for me.  I love memoirs and would love to be able to share my life story in that way in the future.  A lot has happened in 36 years that may or may not be useful for some people to read.  In a way,  it would be like purging myself of things weighing on my mind and I believe a lot of my experiences could touch a few people.

    My other passion is photography.  Photos take a moment in time and freezes it for you.  So, as none of can stop time, we can capture a moment in time and hold onto it forever.  I am considering going back to school this fall for some photography classes.  I have 2 gorgeous daughters, my oldest turning 11 in July, and my youngest is 7.  They are a blessing and challenge me everyday to be a better person.

     So, this post is my way of baby stepping into this community and meeting new people and share writing ideas.  I would love to have some of my poems published into a book and I am wanting to submit to magazines and other contest I find.  One problem is, I'm not computer brilliant and the creation of a manuscript is over my head.  Any help with that would be awesome.  Thanks to everyone for the wonderful welcome and thank you ahead of time to anyone that stops to read this.
