Writers' Week is here, and I want to invite everyone at She Writes to join in! It's a virtual event that takes place on my blog Monday, September 10 through Friday, September 14.

Here's some of what's on the schedule for the writing/blogging event:

An official schedule with specific dates and times will be announced closer to Writers' Week. For now, here are some schedule highlights:

• The hella fun Writers' Week writing contest (for writers and bloggers at all experience levels) kicks off on Monday, September 10. Pick one of 50 weird writing prompts, and start writing!
• For $1.39 you'll be able to purchase a digital copy of the short story "Ten Mississippi" by Johann Thorsson, Len Berry, Claire Ryan and Rachel Brody and edited by Emily Suess. All proceeds will benefit the kids at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
• Win a copy of The Fine Print of Self-Publishing -- one copy will be given away every day of the week.
