I have been blogging for about six months; cancer prompted me to write which prompted me to turn inward and outward again, trying to make sense of it all.  This is a recent post about the language of breast cancer, specifically the notion of "survivorship." In response to questions by Marie at Journeying Beyond Breast Cancer, I wrote this post on my ambivalence and discomfort around certain words, many of which are colored by my experiences growing up in Northern Ireland.
