Nice!! I love the tone you create, not just with the setting and Jesse and Clara's attitudes, but with the constant theme of a knife. It's really interesting. I was very swept up by the situation they were in, and could definetly relate. My favorite scene had to be the pumpking massacre.

The only think that slowed me down was the first paragraph, when you describe the house. The description was great, don't change it--but it definetly slowed me down at the start of the story. Perhaps dividing it up?

I thought this was great, for it's a simple story with raw emotions that I crave and can relate to. Lovely!
