In January, I decided that this would be the year that would devote more time to writing and look for opportunities to educate myself and connect with other writers. Soon after, I found out about the Philadelphia Writer's Conference, which will take place on June 8th to 10th at the Holiday Inn in Philadelphia.   The price and location were perfect for me.  I could hardly wait until registration opened and I was able to see what types of workshops that were available.  About a week after registration opened, I signed up.  This was a big step for me because I didn't know anyone attending and planned on going alone.  Since then, a dear friend has decided to accompany me.  I can't wait for this experience and feel certain that it will be a wonderful way to begin my summer vacation and jumpstart my writing.  I'm sure lots of people on this site know about this and was just wondering if anyone has attended in the past or will be attending this year.  If so, I'd love to hear from you.
