The worst & best moments in my life are when I am writing and when I am not writing!

THE WORST MOMENTS BECAUSE:

  • I can't decide when I am writing if I am writing what I should be writing. When I AM writing, I think of all sorts of things I should be writing but can't write because I can't put my mind and hand to it at the time I am thinking about it.

(I love run on sentences because most people talk that way.)

  • When I am writing, I want to be going and doing things I usually hate to do. When I am not writing, I get depressed at the thought of having to do those things that need to be done instead.
  • When I am writing I think how unappreciated my talent is. When I am not writing, I think how unappreciated my talent is.
  • When I am writing I have high hopes but short faith in what I am doing. When I am not writing, I have a pity party and no one ever comes.
  • When I am writing I wonder what my children will do with all these treasures. When I am not writing, I wonder why I have kept all this trash.

The worst moments are when I am writing and when I am not writing.

THE BEST MOMENTS BECAUSE:

  • When I am writing without interruption, my imagine runs free. When I am not writing and there are no interruptions, my imagination runs free.
  • When I am writing, conflict is resolved. When I am not writing conflict becomes a future character in a storyline.
  • When I am writing and I get in the flow with the muse favoring my fancy and pulling my heart I have a thrill within that says, "Yes! This is right!"
  • When I am not writing, but the muse has remained, I can block out unnecessary noises and continue creating the story in my mind.
  • When I am writing, I thank God for trusting me with this desire to write. When I am not writing, I thank God for my home and family and the ability to write.
  • When I am writing, I am not me. I am the actor, director, audience-but I am not me. When I am not writing, I am wife, mother, sister, friend-but I am not like anyone else.

The best moments are when I am writing and when I am not writing.

I have always been a study in contradiction,

writing or not writing,

that remains the same.
