What's the theme?

The theme for this year's contest is CENSORSHIP, and the goal is to get bloggers thinking about the importance of this topic on a national and global level. Recent events involving SOPA and calls for Rush Limbaugh to be pulled from the air after his inflammatory about Sandra Fluke are giving us all cause to consider what should and should not be said.

It's a complicated topic, and it's sure to prompt some great responses from bloggers worldwide.

Who can participate?

The Brave Little Blogger Contest is open internationally. Winners living outside the U.S. and Canada may receive prize substitutions of comparative value, however.

What are the Prizes?

Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners and include $50, $35 and $15 Amazon e-gift cards. Other donated prizes include:

  • Professional Proofing and Copyediting Services (Mahesh Raj Mohan)
  • Small Business Startup Kit (Small Business Bonfire)
  • Professional Resume and Cover Letter Services (Kristin Offiler)
  • Personal Branding Coaching (Two Pens)
See the official rules for more information, and encourage your friends, students, and peers to join the fun!
