I am a writer/mother/wife/Black Dragon Kung-Fu Instructor, that adores cats and tigers. I am working towards becoming a recognized, published author of Adventure/Romance, Fantasy/Romance, Paranormal/Romance, and Western/Romance genres.

My purpose with this blog is two fold. One:  To share the many tips I have learned about writing through trial and error, books I’ve purchased on the craft, and tips I’ve picked up from my critique groups. Two:  To help me build a wider audience, for when all of my hard work comes to fruition and I become a published author.

That’s pretty much what every writer blog out there does. Right? This one will focus mainly on ways to help us improve our writing as we continue to hone our craft and grow as writers. So, how will this blog differ from the millions of others out there? For starters I don’t claim that my methods or ways are the only ones. I’m open to listening to suggestions, that are made respectfully.

I also won’t claim to be anything more than I am. A writer, still learning all the ins and outs of the craft. I’m no different than my followers are. We’re all still learning to hone our crafts. We may be at different stages, but we are all still learning.

I might even throw in one of my favorite recipes from time to time, since I love to cook.
