    Thanks for the list. Gives me some to add to my Kindle. Of those you mention, I've read Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Divergent, The Scorpio Races, and Wither. Of those my favorite was probably Divergent, though I didn't love the end.

    If you were including non-speculative books, I'd have to mention The Year We Were Famous- probably the best YA I've read all year and it is historical fiction.

    I shall now go add Delirium and probably Shatter Me to my wish list:)

    I think I was most impressed this year with the novel Wither, of all the YA novels I've read. After reading it, I couldn't get it out of my mind. Great picks!! I think you named off all the ones I've read and enjoyed. Crossed being another great one on the list!
