Phew!  Barely made my goal today, but truthfully it was not my fault.  My muse did such a good job of inspiring me yesterday with her vivid imaging and emotions that I simply could not land solidly in front of my computer today.  So thorough was her inspiration that I could see this amazing story come to life as if it were a movie.

Last night I fell asleep with this amazing drama still all around me, its color temperature still on my skin, ethereal breezes wafting beneath my nose, and an emotional state of being that could have only been borrowed from my characters.  The challenge today:  I woke up this morning with my mind far beyond the place where I left the story the night before.  Somehow, I had to find a way to go back into the past of the story, back past where I had shut off the computer. So, it was either chocolate or a thousand movie soundtracks, I opted for a hand full of chocolate chips and five hundred (not really) soundtracks.  It was not until around 5pm that I finally sat my butt back down and punched out my set goal. I am not saying that I was able to recapture the colors, the emotions, and subtle sentiments of this, but I was determined to stick to my set word goal.  In the meantime, I have to trust that that same muse will show up in the editing process.
