Hello fellow She Writers!
It's November 1st, which for some writers means the beginning of NaNoWriMo, a month of daily writing resulting in 50,000 words by the end of the month. It's quite an undertaking, one that just might leave me in an exhausted smiling heap by the end of the month.
Kamy Wicoff, our fearless leader, posted today about her plan to write daily this month, even though she isn't participating in NaNoWriMo this year. She also encourages other She Writers to get involved in daily writing this month as well.
So, in an effort to celebrate everyone's dedication to writing this month, we are planning meet ups all over for December 2nd. We'll take the opportunity to congratulate each other on a month of dedicating ourselves to a love we all share - writing.
If you need help finding fellow She Writers in your area, contact Monica Medina or myself and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
Watch for future posts on ideas for your meet ups and updates on areas that are participating.
And now, I'm off to work on my NaNoWriMo novel!
Happy writing!

We have a couple of SheWriMos in the Treasure Coast / Palm Beaches. Anyone up for a meetup Dec 2? Keep writing. We're burning up the pages here in South Florida!
Mary, I'll put the word out and see who we can get you in touch with!
Where in Northern cal are you?
Amber - I'm working on my book on NaNo, too, although I'm writing it here in my system and have to transfer it over to NaNo's. If you hear of any SheWritesNaNo peeps in the Northern California area please lemme know.
Best of luck on your November writing-fest. I love giving myself that extra push!
