Sometimes it feels as though I write in a void. There are so many worthy writers with things to say, I wonder if my message is needed in the ever increasing amount of digital data.

And yet, just a day ago, I started again with a new project: Solid Happiness

It's been on my mind for months, well years, but how to go about it, what it should look like and frankly, having the ability to see it through is always at the forefront of my mind before I begin anything. The project seems to have passed all the beginning query I set against it.

So it begins www.solidhappiness.com

Thanks, Kate for starting your blog and friending me. Are you a redhead too? Okay, let's get something going for SW. What do you think about a discussion group where people can post their concerns about writing and what it takes to be a writer, keeping them focused on what about the writing makes them happy, what changes will come about that might be difficult but energizing and positive. Change is a scary word. Writing can be a scary profession. We can ask others to take part and give of themselves to keep this tub afloat. Blue skying it. What do you think? I'd also like to consider the use of the word "fulfilling" when happiness doesn't work. I'm just spewing now, but I try to bolster where I can. Your thoughts?
