When I went to the bank on Monday  there was a man walking by just as I got out of my truck.  He was on the sidewalk, and looked harmless, so I stopped to listen to what he was trying to tell me.

"I've been trying to figure out," he says,  "what religion was Charles Manson.  You know he killed, (and I missed the middle,) than says "he was Assembly of God, and you know, Hitler was a Catholic."

He didnt look homeless  or crazy, so it it got me to thinking what prompted his need to tell me this.

Being a stream of consciousness, tangential talker and writer myself, I started to wonder, is there a story here?
