I’ve been reading The Two Kinds of Decay: A Memoir by Sarah Manguso. In her memoir, she talks about the gaps in the narrative and not being able to account for all of her time. Now that I have had another back injury, I understand. Mind you, I don’t have CIDP and can’t imagine what that is like. What I mean is that, being ill and on painkillers, I find it impossible to focus. I can’t read very much or even write. Most of my time is spent playing video games or watching television. This is quite depressing, especially for a writer. Time is escaping me and I am losing track of days. The one thing this in
