I just want to leave a short post thanking y'all for letting me join this group of amazing women. I read today that two-thirds of people go back to their 'old' lives before cancer treatment. . .re-nter the world swimming like a fish. I'm part of the other third. One of my personal endeavors is to let it be known that some of us need more time to get used to a 'new normal'. Who we are and how we engage with the world is altered due to surgery or radiation damage to tissue and lingering chemo-brain.

I want, even with this little note that you and I are not alone.
