Today is Valentine's Day.  Whether we adore it, hate it, or could care less about it, stories of love, happiness, heartbreak, loss, ridiculous dates, romantic nights (we could go on) are on our minds. As writers, we want to think, feel, pontificate, share, make meaning...and here on She Writes, connect about it all.

So today, dig into that box of chocolates and your imagination once again. Following up on our "Why I Write" Six Word Memoir Contest from this past fall, SMITH Magazine has invited She Writes members to weigh in:  How do YOU sum up Love & Heartbreak in 6 Words?

We can't wait to hear your pithy insights! Toss in your 2 cents (er, 6 words) to the She Writes 6-Word Love & Heartbreak Memoir discussion here.

**Also, for any She Writers in NY, SMITH is hosting "Married by Elvis. Divorced by Friday": A Six-Word Memoir Story Slam on Love & Heartbreak" tonight, Monday, Feb. 14th, at the 92Y Tribeca.
