My BFF, Noelle Alix, and I have been blessed to be a part of a women's prayer circle on and off for a few years. It's a diverse group of women who are on the bumpy road of faith. It was the first such group I've ever been exposed to, where I was completely comfortable to talk about my faith. To talk about how I've leaned on it. How I've questioned it.

Until this morning that is.

A good friend asked me to come to a prayer circle in her neighborhood. It meets one hour every other week and it's purpose is to pray for our children and our schools. There's a set format so things don't get wieldy, which is great for women on the go. But the most incredible thing for me was at the close of the meeting when you break into small groups to pray for your children. Today there were three women in three rooms praying specific intentions for each other's kids. Out loud. It was powerful, emotional, cathartic. So many joys, thoughts and worries for my boys released in prayer.

Have you ever sought spiritual connectivity with other women?

Angela
