In just a week I will be traveling to Havana, Cuba for the first time in ten years to complete work on my book, Unfolding:  A Memoir of Forbidden Travel, AIDS and Healing in Cuba.  Being named a finalist in the Passion Project contest has definitely been a turning point for me and I am more motivated than ever to finish the book and send it out into the world.
