Congratulations to EVERYONE!  We are a very impressive bunch:


Ericka Clay placed as a quarter-finalist for Amazon's 2010 Breakthrough Novel Award. She also recently published a book of short stories and poetry called D is for Dysfunctional.


Playdate a novel by Thelma Adams will be released on January 18. She sold the audio rights to Dreamscape and she made Oprah's January book picks in her magazine and online.


A History of Yearning, a chapbook by Kathleen Spivack, which won the Sow's Ear Poetry Chapbook prize, won First Prize at the London Book Festival and also won an award at the New England Book Festival. Recent poems have won the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award, the Erika Mumford Award, and a Paumanok Poetry Award. New prose appears in The Harvard Review, the North America Review, and elsewhere.

Zoe Zolbrod's novel Currency won a Nobbie award, given out by the literary web site The Nervous Breakdown. (Read "Five Questions for Zoe Zolbrod" here!)

As Formless As My Fear, a story by Roberta Allen, was published in Guernica.

Alexis A. Moore, the founder of Survivors in Action latest book, A Parent's Guide to Cyberstalking and Cyberbullying is now available at Survivors in Action100% of the proceeds are being donated to create a victim


Ilie Ruby's article, Finding a New Home appeared in the New York Times Motherlode blog on December 20, 2010.  Her novel, The Language of Trees, has been chosen as a Target Breakout Book and is in stores now.  (Read "Five Questions for Ilie Ruby" here!)


L. Anne Carrington's debut novel, The Cruiserweight was released in paperback, December 16, 2010.


Jennifer Lynn Knox recently won the 2010 Bananafish Competition.


Cupcakes, Lies and Dead Guys, Pamela DuMond's debut novel, was published by Krill Press November 2010. It is available in trade paperback.


The Mangrove Legacy, the latest novel by K.A. Laity was released by Tease Publishing December 15. This comic Gothic novel appears under one of her romance pseudonyms, Kit Marlowe.


Jane Hammons' short story Los Algodones was published in Verbicide Magazine.


Jane Horan is putting the final touches on her books scheduled to be published by Wiley in fall 2011. The working title is I wish I knew that earlier in my career - the positive side of power and politics.


Random House UK announced that it will be releasing an audiovook version of Alma Katsu's novel The Taker in April 2011. Croation rights were sold to Algoritam.


Talia Carner had her piece Blueprint for the Second Decade accepted by AOL and was expected to run the week between Christmas and New Years.


Rachel Yoder's short non-fiction piece Monkey House is in the current issue of The Collagist. Transubstantiate, a flash memoir about her aunt's hair patty is forthcoming at Brevity in mid January.
