Marianne Schnall's new book, Daring to Be Ourselves: Influential Women Share Insights on Courage, Happiness, and Finding Your Own Voice is now available. Elena Schwolsky's essay Searching for Pina in Havana is included in the anthology Storied Dishes: What Our Family Recipes Tell Us About Who We Are and Where We've Been, edited by Linda Berzok (Praeger) and available on Amazon as of November 30th. Juanita M Frazier won first place in the 2010 Summer of Fiction contest sponsored by www.menopausepress.com. The November issue is now live. You will find her as Walker Frazier. Alisa Cherry has a new book of yoga stories, Stories From the Yogic Heart, featuring 27 writers (most of whom are women!), talking about how yoga radically transformed their lives. Pisces Moon, a short story by Cassandra Dunn is in the November issue of the online literary journal All Things Girl and her story The Rocking Horse was published by Midwest Literary Magazine in their Bearing North anthology. Victoria Janssen's third novel, The Duke and The Pirate Queen, releases December 1, 2010. Bulgarian rights to Alma Katsu's The Taker (Gallery/S&S) sold, joining UK/NZ/AUS, Italy, Spain, Poland and Russia. Anastasia Ashman's tale of a 1979 alternative family recipe for holiday harmony Spirit of the Season(ing): Thanksgiving with Mary Jane was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: All in the Family last year makes its online debut as a homepage feature this week at REDROOM.com. When Love Isn't Enough the debut novel of Stephanie Casher has just been released. Jane Hammons' 55-word story The Bravo Dome was published by Pulp Metal Magazine (scroll to Nov 13).
