I think the main reason I write is because I can’t talk every minute of the day nor can I safely contain all of my thoughts within the confines of my brain. I write more to make a point than to just entertain. Writing for me spreads through various genres, from creative nonfiction (history), suspense, romance, general fiction, to children’s picture books. As a former home-schooling parent and childcare professional I used my words to educate and entertain. My writing process is ridiculous; I pick up my phone and get right to it. I write better when I am working on two or three books at a time and typing on my Blackberry in the Word program. I can get more than a thousand words typed in less than an hour. I guess the small keys demand total focus. Lol. All I can say is, I love telling the stories the characters in my head shout to get out. Thank you so much for inviting me to share my story.
