L. Anne Carrington's first novel, The Cruiserweight is now on sale at Amazon. Castaway, the first book of poetry by Katherine Riegel is now available from Future Cycle Press and on Amazon. Jane Hammons' short story Making It Right is in Camroc Press Review, and her short story Beatnik Blonde is in The Linnets Wings. Hammons also has a 25-word story in the collection Hint Fiction: An Anthology of Stories in 25 words or Fewer (W.W.Norton). Gigi Murfitt's story Wheels for Gabriel is published in Guideposts 10th compilation book Praying Together. Laity's short story High Plains Lazarus is in the new zombie anthology Rotting Tales out this week from Pill Hill Press. Her Jazz Age novella, The Big Splash written under her nom de plume 'Kit Marlow' is available now from Noble Romance. Toni Denis won Second Place for Short Fiction in the Professional Writers of Prescott annual writing contest. Wendy Strgar announces the launch of her first book, Love that Works : A guide to enduring intimacy. Lethal Intent, Sue Russell's book on serisal killer Aileen Wuornos was re-issued this month as a Pinnacle Books "True Crime Classic". Vivian Faith Prescott published her first poetry chapbook Slick online at White Knuckle Press. Ramey Channell's humorous poem, What Is That Thing With Feathers?, a parody of Emily Dickinson's Hope Is the Thing With Feathers, won 1st Place in Alabama State Poetry's Parody Contest. Her first novel, Sweet Music on Moonlight Ridge was published by Chalet Publishers, LLC this summer, and has been accepted as an entry for the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for fiction. Alma Katsu has signed with Century (division of Random House UK) for the next two books in The Taker trilogy. Diane Lockward's poem, Birdhouse was featured on Verse Daily on Friday, November 5. The poem is from her new poetry book Temptation by Water.
