I hate hackers and spammers who use they're talent for evil instead of good, who use they're knowledge to take advantage of anybody with a computer, who slip us corrupted files to get our information like passwords, account numbers and whatever else. I don't get it, there is a lot of money in the computer business. No matter what the economy is doing, there are certian things pple will not sacrifice, as long as we can put that 'need' in front of whatever it is, we can convince ourselves we can't live without it, that we must have it to live. And yes, the computer is one thing I will agree with. Ok, here is what trouble we have had with this computer (it was built by my man in Dec 08). Less than two months later somebody (not me) downloaded a trojan) Jan 10 installed a newer version of Limewire (the culprit from the first one) listening to a friend he should have never EVER listened to, I didn't stop him bc I could not stop him, at the time I was under sedation in the icu following an absess that - that is a story in itself. Oh then in May a virus somehow got downloaded at like 7:30 am, but I didn't download anything, the funny part is it didn't start showing it's face until like 1:30-2:00 that afternoon right after I signed onto MySpace, then I started getting this thing that said I'm running an unprotected computer etc, would u like to ignore it? I hit that button, it would take me to the pay page and I would click out of it and the whole thing came back not even five minutes later. I ended up having to shut down the puter (not bc of that but bc about that time we had a horrific storm pass through. Later that night, it took Larry over two hours to get it off here, he could not find it in the registry Recently, we went though a thing where Larry could not play any of his games (online war games that is Call of Duty, COD UO (United Offense), COD Modern Warfare, Battlefeild, Battlefeild 2, Battlefeild Bad Company 2 would install on here but the updates he needed to get would not download. We would get kicked out of websites, either just go back to the desktop or we'd get a blue screen, we could not get task manager to come up. This was not a virus, this was due to our graffics card. He would install new drivers, which would not delete the old drivers, he downloaded news ones the other night, like he did like a month and a half ago and this ACTUALLY WORKED. We read this online after months of trying to figure out the reason. We also found out the task manager may be due to a malware but it is also working. We just the computer running right and now we have another virus and this is sending a link from us to our contacts in Yahoo. We've both sent status updates alerting everybody to this effect and we have to rerun/reinstall System Suite. Just wanted to bitch and vent. But I think people who use computers for personal gain should not be able to have access to any computers,,, maybe getting shot is a bit harsh. We'll save that for strike three. Strike 1 - no access to computers " 2 - get a minor stab wound " 3 - get an unletal gunshot wound to the hands. Of course, just so everybody knows I AM JUST BEING A SMART ASS!!!!!!!!! Franki
