Hi everyone-
I suddenly got very worried reading one of the entries here and just wanted to make a clarification to ease my mind-- I must have read the submission guidelines 100 times to make sure i was following them--- someone made a comment on here about having to cut their cover letter down to get under the 2000 words- and i wanted to clarify the rules. It was my understanding that our excerpt of our actual piece was to be up to 2000 words, and the cover letter is just however long it is-- with the suggestion of a page. Am I wrong??? I hope I'm not wrong- I definitely worked my butt off on my submission and have a book I'm trying to get out there and I'd hate to lose this opportunity over a misread of a rule.
thanks!
Bonnie
