I was very pleased to find out that there is a hashtag on twitter for #JulNoWriMo which means I'm not the ONLY person in the world trying to write a novel in 30 days during the month of July. Yay! Yesterday I bought a wrist support (am I a big baby or what?) and some of those warming pads in case my wrist hurts---usually just the right one. I also ate fairly healthy today, ate some carrots, ordered out dinner from a middle eastern restaurant and, of course had a candy bar and finished off a pint of gelato. Still, not too bad. I got in 2080 words today (so far). Maybe I'll write a bit more tonight. The plot ended up being a combination of a couple of plot ideas that I had. We'll see. I don't think there will be a problem with pre-ordering this novel. Fiction is such a diversion for me. I can tell I am using some creative parts of my brain that are pretty shriveled up but maybe there is hope. Anyway, it was fun. And that is all it is supposed to be. Thanks to all those who are rooting me on.

Good luck! I haven't tried NaNoWriMo, but I've known of it for quite a few years and I might try it this year.
