I have just ordered The Midnight Guardian: A Millennial Novel By Sarah Jane Stratford (A she writes member). It's her first novel and it's about vampires, which is the same genre as my first novel, as yet unfinished. I am hoping its an enjoyable read (though all reviews point to this as fact already), but also I want to compare her competence with mine i suppose, as we are both at the same level (on our first novel). It would be hugely encouraging if I see more simularities than differences, regarding competencies. But it could also move me to raise my game if it seems it's required. Either way I'm looking forward to reading it when it arrives and will write up a review once it's read too - for all you ladies who may wish to take a look. Shah X
