Another great week for SheWrites members, lots of great news to share, so let’s get right to it. Madeline Wheeler has two great pieces of news to share this week: her play Revealing Frankie will be playing on September 12 at the Exit 7 Players Theater in Ludlow, Massachusetts, and she’s also had an article published on the Huffington Post entitled “Ending Childhood Marriage Will Save Lives”. "Party Line", a short story by Jane Hammons, is now archived over at Everyday-Genius.blogpspot.com. University of Texas Press has recently published Golondrina, a novela by Barbara Gonzalez. It is the first Chicana novel to be published the the company. Congrats, Barbara! GuestLife New Mexico, with contributions from SW member Lisa Abeyta, will be published this week. If you’d like to purchase a copy, you can do so here. Publisher’s Weekly recently reviewed Therese Walsh’s debut novel, The Last Will of Moira Leahy. The book is due out sometime in October. Goodbye Natalie Goodbye Splendour by Marti Rulli was reviewed by Cindy Adams in the New York Post this week. Amy Wallen recently began contributing a column for TheFasterTimes.com called Unconventional Relationships. Her first two articles are called “Why Sleeping with Adam Lambert’s Dad is Too Complicated” and “Why Dating a Prisoner is Better Than it Sounds”. Karen Stephenson had a piece on men's psychological health published this week on MensHealth.Suite101.com Thanks again to all for sharing their exciting news!
