Probably you have asked yourself: Why I should know about some plagiarism cases, if I am writer? How this could concern me?

Everyone knows that plagiarism is bad, but why plagiarism cases continue to appear again and again?

Content writers throughout the world create thousands of articles every day. Not all of these writing pieces are original, because not all writers have high moral standards - some of them think that re-cycle works of others is okay. So they just copy, make a little rewrite, and then publish these works and present them as original.

But these creates a plagiarism loop. Recently on Restaction Watch appeared an article, where was discovered a unique phenomena - authors copied from other scientific papers, that were also copied from other writers. So these dishonest PhD candidates, plagiarizes already copied materials. Is it strange and blatant? Yes.

The same thing with speechwriters, self-published writers and journalists - if they steal the work of others, they cross the line of media and publishing ethics.

Infographic below will bring to your attention the most popular plagiarism scandals of 2016 (Alas, there're many of them in the previous year!).

Take a seat and enjoy.
