Happy Easter! Not only is Christ Jesus Risen but He Is Risen indeed! Amen!

Imagine yourself for a second in front of your closet picking something nice to wear for the day. Not sure? Pick jeans and a t-shirt for example, or a suit and tie.

We all know that Easter is an important holiday to remember: it's Jesus rising from the dead!

But more important than that, we need to clothe ourselves with gentleness, patience, humility, kindness,  love and finally, compassion. These are important in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

With that concept in mind, go back to the example above. If you were a officer or leader in the military, you would wear clothes to protect yourself.

Colossians 3:12 talks about how since you are in Christ Jesus you are to clothe yourself in gentleness, kindness, humility, patience, love and compassion.

You know that fashion changes every two to three months and women and men who are into it tend to change there clothing styles more often then most people.

But when you come to the cross and receive Christ Jesus the risen Savior, you become his son or daughter, a child of the Living God. However, you must remember to clothe yourself with humility, gentleness, patience, love, kindness and compassion.

Remember that as you go about your Christian walk.

So, the next time you are awake first thing in the morning, and are standing in front of your closet deciding what to wear, remember to ask Jesus to clothe you in kindness, compassion, love, gentleness, patience and humility.

God bless you this Easter Sunday as you prepare to end or start your day!

Happy Resurrection Day!

Blessings!
